The mini bar company started off life in 2020 under another company name, when Harry put a home made mobile bar on the end of his driveway in lockdown, serving draught beer to the neighbours because he desperately missed a draught pint and that was the excuse!
Each neighbour would come over from their house with their own pint glass, sanitise the tap, pour their own beer, and clean the tap again. He went through 14 kegs in just 10 weeks, believing that he was the largest distributor of draught beer in the UK at that time because all the pubs were now closed.
Plymouth Live even came over for a photo and quoted it “local Wembury man helps village pint by pint!” – and from then, Harry knew that mobile bars were a great way forward!
But how could he join his passion for classic cars, with his passion for beer? Grab a beer and take a seat…..
Harry was drinking a few beers in a local beer garden with friends and saw a classic mini trailer for sale and then the penny dropped! Classic mini trailer, put a bar on top of it, tow it to events! Job done! The Mini Bar was created in 2023 with the use of the classic mini he already owned and took 2 years to build! He then bolted on a tow bar, wired it up, built the bar top and there you have it!
On top of the mini bar, there are also several other units to rent including whisky barrel bars, mobile bars and fridges. Check out the “mobile bars” section in the menu.
